Vice President of Actuarial Services
Overview
We are looking for a Vice President of Actuarial Services to join our team. This position will directly report to the SVP President of Palliative and is responsible for designing, developing, piloting, and scaling of a new risk-based palliative care offering within Gentiva.
Partner closely with senior management and functional leaders to help develop and build this new offering, with specific responsibility to refine the criteria of our target patient population and spearhead risk-based contracting with providers and health plans
Lead and shape the actuarial services and healthcare economics vertical within Gentiva, contributing to the development of a new value-based offering with the foundation and scale of the nation’s largest hospice provider
About You
Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) or Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) is required
10+ years of experience working as an actuary in the healthcare industry with medical claims, membership, and provider data
5+ years of experience in management/leadership
Expertise in Structured Query Language (SQL)
Proven experience with Medicare and Commercial paid claims data sets; experience with other applicable datasets like Census and Member Eligibility datasets
