Overview

We are looking for a Director Rapid Response to join our team. This position will directly report to the Chief Clinical Officer and is responsible for analysis, consultation, and on-site leadership and support for branch offices experiencing significant clinical, operational, and/or compliance challenges.

  • Develops and directs the implementation of corrective action plans in branches as a result of assessment in response to unfavorable internal or external survey outcomes, request from operation and clinical leaders, compliance or legal. Directs and participates with departments and branch line management in providing feedback and education for the development and implementation of policies and processes, procedures and systems to ensure compliance and positive survey outcomes. May identify additional compliance issues and ensure compliance with same

  • Ensures compliance with local, state and federal regulations and accreditation standards. Provides support, direction and feedback to staff during the clinical compliance process. May delegate responsibilities to ensure follow-up to resolution of each action item identified.

  • May collaborate in the recruitment, interviewing, selection and orientation of staff members, evaluating their performance relative to job goals/requirements, coaching them as needed promote adherence to internal policies.

About You

  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Nursing or equivalent

  • RN license

  • Minimum of ten years’ experience in nursing of which 3-4 years’ experience were in home care or hospice, and 2 of which have been in a management role in a certified organization

  • Extensive knowledge in the areas of Medicare, Medicaid, and third-party payor coverage, documentation, service delivery and the interpretation and application of regulations and performance improvement standards

  • Travel time: 100%

  • Experience with Lean Six Sigma (LSS) tools and methodologies preferred

  • Experience working with Home Care Homebase preferred
