Director Professional Services
Overview
The Director of Professional Services reports to the Branch Administrator with a dotted line to the Senior Director of Professional Services. Branch DPS directs the clinical activities of the branch/multiple location site(s) associated with the main agency (the “Site(s)”) (main agency and the “Site(s)” collectively, the “Hospice”), including, but not limited to, planning, and evaluating professional health services and conferring with other staff to assure that services at the Site(s) are provided at quality levels consistent with professional standards and goals. Is qualified to act as a Branch Administrator/Assistant Branch Administrator in the absence of those individuals.
About You
Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
Currently licensed RN in good standing in the state(s) in which he/she will practice
Minimum 1 year experience in providing oncology, medical, home health or hospice nursing preferred
Must pass the medication test within a 60-minute period with at least an 80% score
Must have an empathetic attitude toward the sick, elderly, handicapped, terminal, dependent, or disable patient in the home setting
Ability to travel 50-75% on a daily basis
